Transportation

A & B Transport is an asset based business, established in 1995. We provide liquid and dry bulk transportation services throughout the United States, with a fleet of over 100 liquid and dry bulk trailers. Our fleet consists of MC-307 & MC-407 stainless steel insulated liquid trailers, 5000 gallon acid trailers and vacuum pneumatic dry bulk trailers ranging from 1600 to 2800 cubic feet capacities. Our drivers are hazmat and TWIC card certified and provide pump or air.

We have two terminals that work as one when it comes to taking care of our customers needs. Safety and superior customer service are our priority. The Sulphur, LA terminal was established in 1995 and in 2014 we established our Houston, TX terminal to better serve the Texas market.

As specialist in liquid and dry bulk transportation with extensive industry experience, we are uniquely qualified to provide fast efficient service, competitive pricing with the most up-to-date technology to better service our customers. We have partnered with McLeod Software, which is a live, real time business software, very similar to corporations SAP software. In addition to this investment, we have partnered with Motive to maintain and manage our driver ELD’s and to manage our forward and backward facing dash camera, along with side camera on every truck. Our customers need real time answers and we have the experience and technology to provide the information they need to keep them ahead of their competitors. COMPENSATION:

Owner/Operator: 65% linehaul, weekly payment, 65% chargeable detention, 90% pump charge, 100% fuel surcharge and offering driver referral program and sign on bonus.

Company Driver: Based on experience, we pay 26% to 30% of linehaul revenue, a weekly guaranteed minimum, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays. We pay 100% of dental, vision and life insurance, 50% of health insurance and offer Aflac and retirement packages. We also offer a driver referral program and sign on bonus.

Driver Information & Application

Must Possess valid Class A CDL
Must not have any felony convictions
Must have 2 years minimum OTR Tanker experience
Must have clean MVR record with less than 5 out-of-service violations in the last 3 years
Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
Must have a current TWIC card

Must have Pump or Air Compressor
Must be registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
Must agree to have a forward/backward/side facing cameras installed
Must agree to have KeepTruckin ELD system installed
Must have a valid D.O.T. Physical
Must pass drug and alcohol screening
